The year is speeding by and we can hardly believe spring is here. In this newsletter we discuss products and services and also share exciting news on our new CSI project.
Real Pay Product Offering
Real-Time Debit Orders
Real Pay offers Users a real-time debit order service on FNB bank accounts with selective tracking options. Real-time debit orders enable Users to collect funds early morning in real time, and also offer an option to manually change the collection time for resubmission. Users are able to submit collections transactions over a period of days with the advantage of their account holders not being charged any unpaid fees.
Visa Debit Card
The Real Pay Visa debit card product enables Users to upload transactions for future-dated instalment collections with all the major Visa-participating banks in Botswana. Real Pay has added many great features to this collection method.
At the start of the 2016/17 financial year, Real Pay expanded our product offering to include compliance-related services. These priced value-added benefits are offered in order to assist Users to comply with industry regulations.
The feedback on mandates is provided via mandate criteria sheets that include suggestions to rectify the identified non-compliant areas for correction.
Products in Development
- Debit Orders (NDO)
Noticing the need for standard, in-country debit orders, Real Pay is in the process of introducing debit orders (NDO) to our product bouquet in Botswana. This product will give Users the additional benefit of being able to collect funds from all Botswana banks, with our current reporting capabilities. Funds collected are paid into Users’ bank accounts at an agreed-upon interval. Users will be able to select any date for collection.
Real Pay Corporate Social Initiative
- I am Special Education Society
Real Pay management took a decision to adopt the I am Special Education Society in Tlokweng, Gaborone as our flagship CSI project in Botswana.
The centre offers educational services to children with a wide range of special needs and includes students with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mild to severe mental challenges and other developmental delays. The centre currently provides services to 22 day students, for many of which the daily commute to attend lessons is a challenge.
Real Pay has agreed to assist the school with an infrastructure and learning material upgrade in line with the school’s most urgent needs. Real Pay values the communities we are active in, especially the youth. As such, we are proud to be working together with a learning centre investing in the future of learners with special needs.
