Dear Real Pay User
New system functionality: NDO dashboard
This new chart will give you a detailed overview of your transaction statuses throughout the month. It is not an interactive chart and will only provide an indication of your transaction status. In no way should this be used for reconciliation, as the chart will update on a daily basis as statuses change. Please refer to client billing for all reconciliation purposes.
The blue indicator (transactions submitted) will consist of the total transactions submitted for the specific day, whether it be successful, failed, error or in processing.
This new indicator will simplify the management of your normal debit order statuses.
For any questions or queries, please contact your Key Account Manager or the Real Pay office on +27 12 347 0729 or +27 83 230 3847.
Real Pay in Lesotho
Real Pay is happy to announce that we have officially launched in Lesotho, and we are proud to offer Users a Real-Time Debit Order service on FNB bank accounts with selective tracking options. Real-Time Debit Orders enable Users to collect funds early morning in real time, and also offer an option to intervene manually. Users are able to submit collections transactions over a period of days with the advantage of their account holders not being charged any unpaid fees.
With this exciting extension, Real Pay is increasing our footprint of being “Africa’s preferred payments solution”
The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) published The National Payment System Framework and Strategy – Vision 2025, which sets out the goals and strategies for the national payments industry, aimed at building a world-class national payment system (NPS) that serves the economy and the people of South Africa. In its regulatory, supervisory and oversight capacity, the SARB plays an important role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the NPS.
The objectives of Vision 2025 include increased consumer trust and familiarity with electronic payments systems. The Vision 2025 publication maps out an overarching vision for the industry and also sets out nine goals that are aligned to the economic development goals contained in the National Development Plan, and they should help to achieve broader societal objectives such as financial inclusion.
It needs to be highlighted that it is a landmark for non-banks in co-contributing to the NPS’s Vision for the first time, and Real Pay contributed viaour industry association, Commercial Independent Bureau Association (CIBA).
