What is the difference between NAEDO and AEDO?

• Non-Authenticated Early Debit Order (NAEDO) is a payments stream that operates in the Early Debit Order environment and allows you to process your debits closer to the bulk salary payment window, thereby improving the likelihood of successful collections. The mandate is authenticated either by voice mandate or by written consent to collect instalments from the account holder’s account.

• Authenticated Early Debit Order (AEDO) is a collections service that allows you to load future-dated, irreversible collections on third-party accounts. The transaction is card based and the account holder’s card and pin must be present when the transaction is initiated.

What are the main benefits of NAEDO?

The NAEDO payments stream is utilised to collect time-sensitive transactions and the beneficiary use is first in line to collect funds from an account holder’s account. In addition, the NAEDO payments stream also holds numerous benefits for the account holder and beneficiary user as it is a flexible and user-friendly method of collecting recurring payments from account holders’ who authorised such deductions.
