Real Pay DebiCheck Update
Migration process and data quality
Real Pay trusts that this newsflash finds you in great spirits and good health as we manage through these unprecedented times.
With the way business and payments are changing globally, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up to speed with payments industry changes while simultaneously adjusting to the “new normal”. In particular, imminent changes required in your business processes to align with COVID-19 requirements.
Notwithstanding the current uncertain times, we have continued the momentum on the DebiCheck front and are fully prepared to facilitate the migration process.
Real Pay has been DebiCheck live since August 2018, with the majority of our clients onboarded and being able to submit mandates for collection against all DebiCheck participating bank accounts. We have also successfully migrated large volumes of existing payment arrangements to DebiCheck with both our sponsoring banks, Absa and FNB.
Our Users are experiencing pressure from their stakeholders to test and provide proof of their DebiCheck capabilities; therefore, Real Pay recommends submitting new DebiCheck arrangements and migrating existing arrangements, albeit low volume for the time being.
Detailed feedback on submitted DebiCheck mandates or migration results is available on our dynamic online dashboards, and on request from our team.
In DebiCheck, and the migration process, the importance of data quality is paramount. Ensuring that the mandatory information, i.e., ID numbers, is updated and correct will prevent any validation failures concerning file submissions.
Real Pay remains committed to be the preferred DebiCheck provider, and you are welcome to engage with your Real Pay relationship manager regarding any questions on DebiCheck, migration or data quality, and compulsory information.
Please feel free to direct any further queries to our Head of Sales and Marketing, Luan Cloete on (+27) 83 657 9136 or email@example.com.
