Real Pay - Namibia 2021
Dear Valued User,
With the year drawing to a close, we reflect on our achievements in the payments industry in 2021.
Important payments regulatory changes will make 2021 a year to remember. The journey to adapt and successfully implement these changes, with strict key compliance dates in mind, has been interesting and challenging at times with no compliance milestone dates missed.
Real Pay, together with industry and our valued clients, has been part of the successful implementation of these new payment streams of which we are proud to be the first movers and industry leaders, particularly in Namibia with the go live of EnDO and DebiCheck in South Africa.
Excellence is part of our values and value offering to our Users, and at the heart of it all is our dedication to providing outstanding customer experience.
We have launched an extensive customer experience survey to our whole customer base and your participation is of utmost importance – we value your opinion. Thank you to our Users who have completed the survey.

Batch Upload and Bulk Update Cut-off Date
Please note that the December cut-off date for batch submissions and bulk edits is Friday, 10 December 2021. Please ensure that all batch and bulk editing instructions reach us at email@example.com no later than 12:00 on 10 December 2021, to ensure correct and timely submissions.
We strongly remind our Users to verify via Real Pay reporting that a bulk change or batch submission has been amended or loaded correctly.
Real Pay will not be held responsible or accountable for any non or erroneous submission of any batch files or bulk edits. Please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any further questions.
As mentioned in previous communique, please remember that all collection requests submitted must be compliant with industry rules and regulations, which include a valid “authority to debit” or “mandate”.
Obtaining a valid mandate remains a critical step and forerunner to any deduction of funds and ensures compliant participation. Subsequent to any other agreements, a valid mandate still remains a regulatory requirement and adhering to the minimum mandate elements remains essential. These elements should be in accordance and aligned with the original agreement.
Although industry places high levels of reliance on the contract between the relevant parties, debtor and creditor, the regulator requires a specific mandate that can be identified and provided upon request.
We remind our Users that bank dispute requests are time sensitive; therefore, it is of utmost importance to send the requested mandate to us in a timely manner.
Mandates can be obtained in either a written or voice-recorded format and you are welcome to email email@example.com for any clarification.
Real Pay has continually kept Users well informed regarding the requirements for valid mandates and we continue to raise awareness on this aspect in the interest of our Users, enabling compliant participation in the payments industry.
We remind our Users that our support team is on standby throughout the festive season.
Please do not hesitate to call us on +27 (0)83 230 3847 or email firstname.lastname@example.org any support queries.
We sincerely thank you for your loyal support during 2021.
Real Pay wishes all of our Users and their families a safe festive season. Enjoy much-needed time with your loved ones and we look forward to welcome you back in 2022.
Kind regards,The Real Pay Team
